Data Privacy Statement

This data privacy statement explain how AMPEG GmbH (hereafter "AMPEG", "we", "us") processes which personal data of you for which purposes.

Log data and analysis

When using the website, certain data, including data sent by the browser (e.g. IP address, cookies, previous website, time and date, displayed contents) is temporarily stored. The IP address, which is stored in the cookies, is being anonymised for the analysis.

We collect and store data for marketing and optimisation purposes on this website using technology from Matomo (formerly Piwik). Data will be stored on our servers in Germany only. Cookies may be used for this purpose. Cookies are small text files, which will be stored locally in the cache of the visitor's browser.

Your IP address is being anonymised for the analysis immediately so that you remain anonymous as a user for us. The data collected with Matomo will not be used to identify visitors to our websites personally.

The analyses help us to improve our services. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) f) GDPR.

Reject statistical analysis

If you want to contradict to the anonymous storage and analysis of the usage information generated, you can opt out as described below:

Automated decision-making or profiling pursuant to article 22 (1) and (4) GDPR does not take place.

Purposes and legal bases

In principle, we only process personal data necessary for the fulfilment of the contractual relationship with you or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.

In individual cases – for example when using our newsletter – we support the processing on your explicit informed consent.

Data Transfer to Third Parties

Personal data will then be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contractual relationship with you or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures.

In the event that we entrust third parties with the processing of personal data, we shall work with processors who provide sufficient guarantees that appropriate technical and organisational measures will be implemented in such a way that processing complies with the legal requirements and the protection of your rights is guaranteed.

There is currently no provision for the transfer of data to processors, service providers or other organisations outside the EU.

Data Deletion

AMPEG processes your personal data for as long as necessary for the purpose of the processing, which mainly is the provision of our services requested by you. This means for example that we send you newsletters for as long as you do not withdraw your subscription.

We will retain personal information for as long as necessary for the particular business purpose or purposes for which it was collected. If you revoke your consent, delete user accounts or object to data processing, we will delete the data collected in a timely manner.

Your Rights

You can request information which personal data we store. If you have provided personal data based on a contract or consent, you have the right to receive this data in a common and machine-readable format. In justified cases, you may also request the deletion, correction or limitation of the processing of your data.

Where you provided consent for the use of your personal data, you can withdraw your consent at any time with future effect.

Links

If you use external links offered in the context of our Internet pages, this privacy policy does not extend to these links. When we offer links, we strive to ensure that they also comply with our privacy and security standards. However, we do not have any influence on the compliance of data protection and security regulations by other providers. Therefore please inform yourself on the Internet pages of the other providers also about the data protection declarations provided there.

Data Security

Please note that, in spite of extensive security measures, by transferring data over the Internet third-parties may have access to this data. Therefore we can accept no liability for unauthorised, third-party access to data during transfer.

Changes

We reserve the right to change our security and data protection measures at any time. Changes to the privacy policy will be published here, so that you can be informed at any time.
